Addiction never affects just one person.
It affects partners, parents, children, and entire family systems.
Behind every individual in crisis, there is often a family living with stress, fear, and emotional exhaustion.
The need for our support is growing.
In 2024, Social Ground Force supported 65 individuals and their families, including 69 children.
In 2025, that number increased to 76 individuals and 105 children.
That is 315 lives directly impacted in just two years — and many more affected indirectly.
• Chronic stress and trauma
• Mental health challenges among family members
• Breakdown of relationships
• Increased reliance on prescribed medication
• Long-term emotional harm to children
Many families live in constant crisis — often unseen, often unsupported.
We act quickly — often at the most critical moment.
We work not only with the individual, but with the whole family system.
Because when families are supported, recovery lasts longer.
When families are ignored, cycles repeat.
Our intervention also reduces pressure on public systems — including HSE services, Gardaí, courts, and probation services — by stabilising individuals before crises escalate.
