Our Key Developments (September โ November 2025)
Behind every statistic is action.
Between September and November 2025, Social Ground Force made significant steps forward.
SGF began developing a new recovery and education hub to support people post-rehabilitation through training, peer groups, and mentoring.
SGF CEO Aubrey Melville held a meeting with HSE representatives, who expressed strong interest in collaboration.
In just two weeks in October, SGF referred 9 people to rehabilitation and supported many more โ without any State funding.
Aubrey Melville spoke live on Midwest Radio 96.1 FM, sharing verified suicide prevention outcomes and real recovery stories.
At TUS Midlands Athlone, students organised a charity event to support SGFโs Suicide Prevention Network.
Following a local presentation at Killasser Community Centre, 40+ people attended, and 7 participants expressed interest in beginning training as peer-support specialists.
Stage 1 is underway, linking communities across:
Sligo โข Mayo โข Leitrim โข Galway โข Donegal โข Athlone โข Limerick
These months were not about planning. They were about doing the work.
Step by step, community by community, we are building Irelandโs Suicide Prevention Network.
